Terms of Service

Access Fees and Refund Policy

Celebrate My Teacher charges supporters a one-time $1 access fee per teacher to unlock that teacher’s available Venmo or Zelle payment information.

Teachers are not required to provide payment information when registering. However, supporters cannot purchase access to a teacher’s payment information until the teacher has provided at least one supported payment method.

Once purchased, access remains associated with the supporter’s account, allowing the supporter to return and view that teacher’s available payment information without paying the access fee again.

All $1 access fees are nonrefundable, except where refunds are required by applicable law.

The $1 access fee is separate from any appreciation gift. Gifts are sent directly to teachers through their selected payment provider. Celebrate My Teacher does not collect, hold, or distribute appreciation gifts.

Celebrate My Teacher is intended exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

By registering for an account or using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Individuals under 18 are not permitted to register, create teacher profiles, purchase access to teacher payment information, or otherwise use the platform.

Celebrate My Teacher reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this age requirement.

Teacher Accounts and Responsibilities

Teachers may register, create profiles, and maintain their accounts on Celebrate My Teacher completely free of charge. There are no registration fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges for teachers.

By creating a teacher account, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information about your identity, teaching history, schools, and years of service.

Teachers are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date profile information, including any optional Venmo or Zelle payment details.

Providing payment information is voluntary. However, supporters will not be able to purchase access to a teacher’s payment information until at least one valid, supported payment method has been provided.

Teachers are responsible for ensuring that their payment information belongs to them or is otherwise authorized for their use. Celebrate My Teacher is not responsible for gifts sent to incorrect payment accounts due to inaccurate information supplied by a teacher.

Celebrate My Teacher may review teacher profiles for accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with our policies. We reserve the right to request verification, correct or remove inappropriate information, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Teachers acknowledge that their public profile information may be visible to website visitors and that authorized supporters may view and retain their supplied payment information after purchasing access.

Supporter Accounts and Responsibilities

Supporters must be at least 18 years old and maintain a registered account to purchase access to teacher payment information through Celebrate My Teacher.

Supporters agree to provide accurate registration information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

A one-time $1 access fee is required for each teacher whose payment information a supporter wishes to unlock. Purchasing access to one teacher does not grant access to other teachers’ payment information.

Once access has been successfully purchased, supporters may return to view that teacher’s available payment information through their registered account without paying the access fee again, provided their account remains active and authorized.

Supporters understand that the $1 access fee does not include an appreciation gift. Any gift amount is determined by the supporter and sent separately through the teacher’s selected payment provider.

Supporters agree to use teacher payment information solely for the purpose of sending legitimate appreciation gifts. Payment information may not be sold, publicly distributed, used for unsolicited communications, or otherwise misused.

Celebrate My Teacher reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activity, harassment, unauthorized information sharing, or other violations of these Terms.

Third-Party Payment Services

Celebrate My Teacher uses third-party payment services to facilitate access-fee transactions and enable supporters to send appreciation gifts directly to teachers.

PayPal: The one-time $1 access fee is processed through PayPal. Payment transactions are subject to PayPal’s applicable terms, policies, and security procedures.

Venmo and Zelle: Teachers may voluntarily provide their Venmo or Zelle payment information so supporters can send appreciation gifts directly to them.

Celebrate My Teacher does not process, collect, hold, or distribute appreciation gifts sent through Venmo or Zelle.

Supporters are responsible for verifying the recipient’s identity and payment information before sending a gift. Teachers are responsible for providing accurate payment details.

All transactions conducted through third-party payment services are subject to the applicable provider’s terms, conditions, fees, and policies.

Celebrate My Teacher does not guarantee the availability, successful completion, or reversibility of transactions conducted through third-party payment services.

Disputes involving appreciation gifts should be directed to the applicable payment provider or recipient. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Important Notice About Teacher Gifts

Celebrate My Teacher encourages thoughtful, voluntary appreciation for educators, past and present.

Before sending or accepting a gift, please ensure that it complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, school district policies, and school rules.

Additional consideration should be given when a student currently attends the school or district where the teacher works, as restrictions on gifts to current educators may apply.

Teachers are responsible for determining whether they may accept a gift, and supporters should never offer gifts intended to influence grades, evaluations, decisions, or other professional responsibilities.

Celebrate My Teacher does not determine gift eligibility or guarantee that any particular gift is permitted.
